Privacy Policy
Soulshine Cards is made by Soulspark Studio. The app needs no registration, login or profile, and you can use every feature anonymously. This policy explains what data the app uses and why.
1. Your journal stays on your phone
Journal entries and your reading history are stored only on your device. We run no server, nothing is synced anywhere, and we cannot see what you write. Because your journal lives on your phone, its privacy depends on your device's security, so we recommend a passcode or biometric lock.
2. Ads
The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, approximate location based on your IP address, and app diagnostics. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
3. Meta (Facebook) App Events
We use Meta's App Events SDK to measure how well our advertising works, for example whether someone installed and opened the app after seeing an ad. Meta may receive your device's advertising ID, app events such as app opens, and in-app purchase events. Meta processes this data under its own privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
4. Subscription
An optional subscription removes all ads. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play Billing; we never receive your card or bank details. You can cancel at any time in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.
5. Support emails
If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. We do not share them with anyone.
6. Deleting your data
- Your journal: delete entries inside the app, clear the app's storage in your phone's settings, or uninstall the app. Any of these removes your journal permanently.
- Advertising data: reset your advertising ID or turn off personalised ads in your phone's Google settings.
- Anything else: email support@soulshinecards.net and we will help.
7. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us.
8. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
